Vengeance Valley - Movie Review |
|
Despite it's Caine and Able parallels, Vengeance Valley heaps a spoonful of sugar into its tale. Owen Daybright (Lancaster) and Lee Strobie (Walker) are two step-brothers, Strobie's father Arch (Collins) having taken the young Daybright under his wing and raised him as his if he was his own child. As things must happen in order to advance the plot, Daybright ends up being a better son to his adopted-father than his step-brother does. Add in the love of a woman and you have more than enough spice to drive a man to pick up his gun.
