It’s an idyllic summer’s day in a quiet suburban neighbourhood. A mother tends her garden and the neighbours go about their business. Unfortunately such idyllic moments never last. A burnt out bicycle and a tearful son soon sends the mother on a vengeful odyssey that has unusual consequences. Saturday was produced with the assistance of the Irish Film Board. The film was selected for the Edinburgh and Montreal film festivals.
